What a great addition to anyone's toolbox that wants to easily transition from making a model in blender to painting layers on your model with the click of a button. The developer was more than helpful with answering a couple questions I had about using this product and the workflow as well (which is all included in the documentation that I should've read). Excited that this is now a part of my workflow!

Just bought it holy hell, I've been using mixer for a while and just hate how Mixer is not as good as my bought shader addons for blender when it comes to work flow, this bridges the gap :) thanks. worked first go.

Very cool addon that leverages a great program. I just wish its UI tab was titled for the addon. Please please name the UI tab 'PBR Bridge' or something more descriptive and brief.

Thanks Andy, I'm glad you like it!
You're not the 1st requesting a better tab name, that's why I added the possibility for you to rename it via the "addon preferences" of PBR Bridge.
I personally like to rename it to "Tool" since it will then merge with the current "Tool" tab.

I don't know if this is a good addon or not since I couldn't get it to work in the first place. I have followed the manual, but no. Maybe the addon is good but the manual isn't? If you can't get it to work by following the described steps to make it do so, then what's the point?

Hundred of other users didn't even have to read the manual to make it work.
It's all about clicking 1 button on the UI!

You came for help, I tried to guide you through it and you directly refused any help asking immediately for a refund.

I am not sure you made any effort here and don't get why you thought writing a poor review like this was useful for anybody.
You're saying it yourself: "you don't know if this is a good addon", but you still rate it 1/5...

I had problems with my UVs in Mixer, which is why I have reached out to the Dev on discord. He was very helpful and offered me further help if I needed it, that he would look at my blend file, which I then as a blender newbie have also accepted. After that he sent me a detailed description and the blend file with corrected UVs. Pretty useful addon and a big time saver.

Doesn't work as shown in the video!I watched the video, purchased the PBR Bridge add-on, installed it only to find out it didn't work as shown in the video. I checked again, the version number I was using, ver 3, all seemed compatible. Then I checked the FAQ's. there are none, Documentation, it appears none, but the title is actually a link to documentation (which I missed because of this appearance), additionally there is a link to a Discord server. I then read, in detail, the marketing/about tab and found, scrolling down the page, that it refers to not being fully automated for the MAC. I feel this should have been called out in the FAQ's/Documentation pages clearly, and also in the Video to be fair to all users.When you see a plug-in like this and watch a video showing how it can make the process so much easier, this is how it should work. I had paid for this with these expectations, mostly based on watching the video. On a MAC this add-on process is much more manual and, to me, pointless.**** The developer had refused to refund me saying parts of it worked on a MAC. When the Blender Market Place refunded me the developer messaged me calling me a thief, sarcastically congratulating me on the refund. ****This add-on is pointless on a MAC, but more importantly this developer should have been more upfront in the video and should not be insulting customers calling them thieves. I will avoid this developer!

Makes using Quixel mixer very convenient. You can easily move between Blender and Quixel Mixer. Great product
