Excellent geometry nodes setup with a very responsive dev. LOD and culling in the viewport are such crucial features for working with massive terrains and this setup (alongside your high resolution height map), allows you do to do just that. I'm using it primarily for game dev, but you can imagine how useful this is for renders as well.
