  I bought, used, and loved v1. This version is something completely different.

  The quality and number of presets at this price point is incredible.

  My only regret is that I didn't have the money to get the "Alt Tab Everything" bundle at some point, because I've bought nearly every addon as they've come out, and they are always great. This one takes the cake, though. The fact that it includes some really gorgeous explosion VDB's would alone warrant a higher price, I think, on top of the excellent fog presets. I don't think I can gush about it enough. It's worth the (beyond reasonable) price!

  Was surprised when I came to the page to see the rating isn't 5 stars.
  I bought easy fog v1 and it has great presets but the addon itself is lacking. This feels like a polished piece of software and the presets themselves are MILES ahead of what you guys made before. As for the "rerelease" instead of a free update - I understand why you did it and because of your pricing I'm completelly fine with it - I much prefer this over a subscription based system like other softwares do - after all this addon is priced like a good sandwich.

  And to give some credit to the devs, they kept v1 atleast up to date with all blender versions (colormix nodes changes etc.).

  That being said atleast a content update for this version would be nice :)

  This is an amazing plugin, defiantly a huge upgrade from 1.0 interms of UI, Performance (on a 1660s) and the library. The new fog types you get look amazing and I can use them in many scenes. The only one thing id love to see is a way to combine easy fog 1's library into easy fog 2 (if you own it) to make a bigger collection

  I just bought this and haven't tried it yet. But I did want to say I agree with Aaron. I bought this because of the time it will save me and trust I will make that 16$ back 10 fold with one project. Prices change, sales happen. 8$/16$ Honestly all these blender addons are cheap, considering what I can do with stuff that costs less than 20$ or 10$. I'd never be able to afford stuff like this on other programs. And has anyone considered how much blender has updated so theres gonna be a bit more work to put in. I appreciate it. It always feels good to get paid for your work.

  Bought V1 of this. I also bought V2. The pricing might not sit well with everyone, but I think those who complain aren't accustomed to doing a cost-benefit analysis. If this saves you even 15 minutes of time in a production environment, it has easily paid for itself.

  It is my belief that the team behind Alt Tab has genuine intentions and is not trying to treat customers unfairly. It is a time-consuming process to develop products like this. Individuals deserve compensation for the time they invest. While it's understandable that everyone wants free lifetime updates, it's important to consider that developers also need to earn a living.

  I have no affiliation with Alt Tab. I have purchased multiple addons from them, and I have found all of them to be well-crafted and function as promised. Review bombing a developer because you can't justify spending a few bucks to enhance a free program is not in the spirit of the Blender community.

  Keep up the hard work Alt Tab. There are plenty of us who will continue to respect and support you.
