What is AutoTrail?

AutoTrail is an asset library of geometry nodes trees (that require blender 4.1+) with highly customizable trails with endless uses. This product works on both straight lines and curved edges, meaning curved swords and all other types of curves are on the table. 20+ Trails

AutoTrail comes with a multitude of different effects, from basic glows, to a bubble trail with bubbles that really pop, to a trail with onomatopoeia comic book style text. All of these have a set of easily understandable controls and are highly performant (except for the water trails, both of those are quite slow because of the remeshing done).

Drag n' Drop

Drag trails straight in from the asset browser, set the object that will have the trail, the vertex group that the trail should follow and you have a fully functioning trail right away.

Highly Customizable

Not only are all of the trails highly customizable, but with the Blank Points Trail, you can make any collection trail your object. This trail also has controls to add gravity and noise, with these controls you can really create any particle trail that your heart desires.

Implement backward compatibility to blender 3.0
Add more trails
Add the ability to only make trails appear when the object's velocity is above a certain threshold
Add sub step capability for higher quality
