Blender Open Import is a simple to use add-on for Blender. It is made to make importing anything into blender easier. 

When you are working on projects, download some assets and need to import them to blender - you could often find yourself in a situation where you don't know or you are not sure what file type was the asset exported as. That leads to you guessing what file type is it and often having to try out 1-2 different types. You waste a lot of time. With Blender Open Import, that is not a problem anymore - you can just browse to any file and import it - that's it! For even easier use, you can import it by going to Add Menu > Import Anything.
