The .blend file comes with 12 different fern models (plus LoD models). There are 4 different types of ferns with 3 variations each. All models of one type are playced in a different layer.

Layer 1 - Ferns Type 1 (3 models + LoD) | Camera | Lights
Layer 2 - Ferns Type 2 (3 models + LoD)
Layer 3 - Ferns Type 3 (3 models + LoD)
Layer 4 - Ferns Type 4 (3 models + LoD)

In addition there are multiple groups so you can easily append models of certain criteria or all models at once to your own project.

Ferns_All - all 24 models, including LoD
Ferns_Game - all 12 game models
Ferns_LoD - all 12 LoD models
Ferns_Type_1 - all 6 models of fern type 1 (3 variations + LoD)
Ferns_Type_2 - all 6 models of fern type 2 (3 variations + LoD)
Ferns_Type_3 - all 6 models of fern type 3 (3 variations + LoD)
Ferns_Type_4 - all 6 models of fern type 4 (3 variations + LoD)

Please note that most models are translated along the x-axis for a better preview.
The translation however is not applied so you can simply clear the location (ALT+G) to move them back to the scene origin.
