Pbr 3 Cycles Material + Product Shot Studio Blend Scene
PBR 3 is a Cycles Material Node Group, for Blender 3D 2.7x, which allows you to create a Physically Based Material that adheres to the PBR Metallic Workflow, a widely used way to define the properties of the Materials in 3D Computer Graphics, in order to increase the coherence in your scene and deliver predictable, consistent renderings.
PBR 3 will give you coherence and predictability in making Materials, Textures, and rendering; plus, its usage is extremely easy and intuitive, too: once you understand the basics of the PBR Metallic Workflow (as they are discussed in the tutorial linked below), you'll be able to quickly modify some parameters to get a wide range of Physically Based surfaces, preserving the coherence in your scene.
Every rendering that is visible in the cover image of this package and in the videotutorial linked below was made using the same PBR 3 Material for each object, so you can use just ONE Node Group in your workflow to get an extremely wide range of materials and surfaces.
Substance Painter is a perfect companion for PBR 3: since they both adhere to the Metallic Workflow (the one used by Unity 5 Standard Shader, by the way), you can configure SP to export a Textures Set to be used in Cycles --- indeed, in the third part of the tutorial I'll show you how to do that!
In the package you'll find a Blender 3D scene, called “Product-Shot-Studio.blend”; inside it, you'll find the PBR 3 Material.
In the package you'll also find the PDF version of the videotutorial and 3 HDRi Textures that you can use as World Background environment texture.
By buying the package you will get access to technical support on it, so you'll be able to contact me (via email).
