Will Simple Scifi and your Dpacks work in versions of Blender besides 3.0?
No. Simple Scifi is made to take advantage of the nodes in Blender 3.0. You must be using Blender 3.0 at least.
Can these Dpack buildings be used in Blender without Simple Scifi?
Yes. You could load the .blend file as an object....or turn them into kpacks for KitOps. They are however, only vertex painted specifically for use in Simple Scifi. If you use them outside Simple Scifi, you may decide to do further texture mapping or creation.
